A MESSAGE FROM RANDY
MARKETING UPDATE:
- TV Productions is taking video of projects for our new marketing DVD. I am working on the script. Carolyn and I are contacting prior customers to see if they would be willing to be interviewed.
- Work on the new website is continuing. Carolyn has been steadily feeding MAS Media photos and project information. It has been a large undertaking but early previews of the site are exciting. Completion is anticipated within the next couple of weeks. The new site, www.buildwithmills.com is not currently accessible to public viewing, but will be soon. We will let you know when “construction” is complete!!
WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT:
I have been asked to serve as the chair for the recently formed Workforce Development Committee. This is an arm of the Vision 2010 Program. Our committee is working on ways to attract and keep employees in Brookings.
WORKLOAD:
We are currently in the 6th month of our 06/07 year and things look great! Projects are coming in at or under budget and on schedule. We had a big boost from the summer seasonal employees and are now getting help from some part-timers. We have a lot of Fall and Winter work and are looking for full-time employees. Please help out and spread the word.
